Composer utilizing recorded sound in the tradition of musique concrète, physically manipulating sound like plastic arts. Winner of over 40 international prizes and Dean of the Screen School at the University of the Arts London.

Inspired by field recordings from the London Wetlands Centre. The piece transitions from the chaotic rumble of the surrounding metropolis to the oasis of calm, realizing that these natural wetlands are completely "encircled" by the city.
